Bill Greenhaw is a native of Alabama and graduated from Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Music Education and The University of Alabama with a Masters in Music Education. He also holds Masters and Ed. S. degrees in Administration from West Georgia College and State University.
He served as Director of Bands at schools in Georgia and Alabama and was Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Alabama for a time as well as serving in the 55th Army Band. Before retiring from Fayette County Schools in 2004, he served as an administrator in the Fayette County Georgia School for 23 years.
Mr. Greenhaw has conducted several of his compositions and arrangements for band at schools and venues in the southeast and has compositions for concert band published with Matrix Music Publishers. He performs as trombonist and bass trombonist locally and is a member of the NBA, GMEA, MENC and ASCAP.
Mr. Greenhaw has two adult children, both married, and has been a resident of Fayette County for 30 years with his wife, Winkie.
